Military Dog Apparel

How do dogs say "I'm the leader here"? It's very simple-by donning military dog apparel. Indeed, when your dog steps out in a camo hoodie, just watch as a huge pack of dogs gather behind him.

To further boost his ego, make sure that you can have either or all of the pieces of these military dog apparel:

1. Bomber coats. Bomber coats offer enough warmth to your dog during winter or colder weather, and will still keep him in style. There are several variations that are available for bomber coats, but usually they have hoods, some of which are detachable.

2. Dog jackets. Just like bomber coats, dog jackets are perfect for an early morning stroll or nights out. The best pick will be an army-style design, which you can combine with your dog's ID tag - dog tags style.

3. Camo Suit. A camo suit never fails to impress not only your dog but also other pet owners and passersby. After all, it definitely brings out the "military" in him. You can even buy one that has a crystal skull drawn over it to complete the "I am a mean machine" look, but super stylish at the same time. You could also opt for a military-style tank vest, which are ideal when sleeveless to ensure your dog's movement is not restricted. A vest will also protect your dog from the sun, but allow ventilation in summer time.

4. Camo Ski Jackets. A Camo ski jacket will let you know that you can still be both practical and trendy at the same time. The ski jacket provides proper insulation for your dog, so he can easily maintain his body temperature. If it's guenuine winter weather you're battling, you might also pair the ski jacket with a dog beanie to keep those little ears comfortable and warm at all times.

5. Urban Retractable Lead. The urban-jungle-themed retractable lead is just what you need when you have to take your dog for a walk, but you want to keep up the military appearance. It is made of a very soft material, so it remains warm and comfortable in your hand. It goes well with any camo suit and military-style dog clothes.

Puppia offers their customers a wide variety of dog clothes, all in style and truly practical. For example, a military-style dog jacket might suggest that he's in command, but still allows him to be super trendy and comfortable.

The History of Dog Clothes - How Did Your Dog Came to Wear Clothes?

Do you know the history of dog clothes?

Dog clothes were first and foremost worn in the military and regulation enforcement regions, in order to save the dog from neighboring atmosphere and assaults. Nowadays, dogs are also used as watchful sniffers in police departments, army and investigation departments. But a dog's chief responsibility is to be a darling to a person or a family. For this basis, dog clothing has altered with time. Dog cloths go an extensive line of attack in defensive mode for your dog. These protect your dog from cuts, scrapes, bruises, infections and bad weather. The foremost meaning is to keep the dog dry and warm. Animals are being dressed for centuries now. But now the meaning of dressing your dog has changed to a great extent. At that time, clothes were used to guard the horses and dogs from outside rudiments and attacks. But now they are a symbol of trend and fashion. There are garments in particular designed for extraordinary events and proceedings such as weddings and birthdays. Halloween and Christmas outfits are some of the most admired festivals during which people prefer to dress their dogs in Santa fashion garment or princess gowns to make them look attractive.

Dog clothes comprise of all sorts of clothes that are limited to dogs. Body suits, dog sweaters, small dog coats, dog dresses, t-shirts, tank tops and sweatshirts are just a few items to choose from. Dog boots, leashes, tags and hair clips are some garnishes that accolade a dog's attire. Other frills and ornaments take in, collars, jackets bathrobes, beds, boots, carriers, raincoats and toys. Dog clothes are not necessarily made for winter time. Buy a dog coat for your dog this summer.

Even big dogs are conservatory of themselves and you could get dog t-shirts with funny sayings or bright colors to show-off your dog's personality. Buying big dog clothes is also another way to demonstrate them your care. Small dog clothes are now the standard and big dog owners don't want their big child stay deprived of them. What sort of clothes look excellent on big dogs? Big dogs look grand in dog t-shirts and tanks. Tanks are much simpler to put on the dog for the reason that there is meek fight with getting their big paws through the sleeves, and tanks are much easier to take off, in addition. But the key point is that it is immaterial what clothes you buy for your dog. They should fit properly and look good. Careful measuring assures that the dog has an easy fit and will take pleasure in wearing the clothing. Your dog should not feel uncomfortable wearing them. If your dog feels slightest of inconvenience, he will become restless or clumsy. Your dog can not complain about the clothes. He will wear whatever you put on him. But dogs have a different way of showing their discomfort. You will, as masters, need to understand your dog yourself. Follow the regulations properly and buy clothes for your dog. Consider things like dimensions, weather conditions, and skin type before buying clothes for your much loved dog.

Dog Clothes Are Not Just For Our Amusement

I know we see the movie stars walking around with their Chihuahuas in their little pink skirts and ridiculous hats but even though it can be cute, or ridiculous, to see a dog in clothes it's not always all about our amusement.

If you have a smaller dog like a Chihuahua or a Miniature Pinscher and you live in a part of the world where it gets cold sometimes then you know how quickly these dogs become cold when trying to have fun outside.

A sweater adds the extra hair that their furry friends already are equipped with and allows them to enjoy themselves outside instead of shaking uncontrollably and giving up on the idea to come back inside.

It also allows them to go for a walk without shriveling up after a few minutes into it. This is important because dogs need to be walked daily for their mental and physical health and as easy as it is to pick them up and take them home where they can get warm they really should be getting the exercise that they need.

Yes they may look silly when you put their parka on but they will feel better because their focus is off of being cold and onto exploring and having fun. There are also times that you may need to buy something to cover up an open wound or infected area that could become worse if exposed to the wrong thing. I've seen dogs that have had surgery on their feet that have to wear booties if they venture outside at all.

There are also other reasons for booties that you just shouldn't ignore. For example if you live in a cold climate where there is ice, salt, and chemicals all over the sidewalks you are walking on then you can rest assured that your dog is not walking all over these chemicals and bringing them home only to lick off and ingest the minute he walks in the door.

In summer, the pavement can become excruciatingly hot. Everyone has tried to walk across hot pavement without shoes and felt the burning that it can cause.

Boots can also become a barrier between your dog's nails and their wound off of their feet. Just like a cone is put on them to prevent biting you can use boots to prevent scratching.

Yes a lot of times we buy a shirt that says 'top dog' and put it on our dogs to make us laugh or make them look cute but there are also practical reasons as well.
